Extending the cord
If the device no longer cuts cleanly, the cords have
become too short.
The best cutting results are achieved if you extend
the cords such that they are cut by the knife to the
right length.
Extending the cords during cutting operation
– Briefly tap on the floor with the underside of the
cord spool while the device is running.
– Tap once again if the cords have not been exten-
ded far enough.
The cords are automatically cut to the right length by
the cutting knife.

cord spool by hand.
– Place the product on the ground.
– Press your hand on the underside of the cord
spool and pull the two cords out until they are
slightly longer than the edge of the protective
