4.3 Removing the blender attachment
CAUTION!
Risk of injury and property damage due to rotat-
ing blade! The appliance continues to run briefly
after it has been switched off.
Do not remove the blender attachment from
the working container until the appliance has
come to a standstill.
1. Unplug the power plug from the socket.
2. Twist the blender attachment off of the drive
unit (Fig. 7).
4.4 Cleaning the hand blender
WARNING!
Risk of injury and property damage due to incor-
rect cleaning:
Switch off the appliance and unplug the
power plug from the socket before you re-
move the blender attachment and clean the
appliance.
Never immerse the drive unit in water or oth-
er liquids. Do not clean the drive unit under
running water.
Only clean the drive unit and power cable
with a soft, slightly moistened cloth.
Never completely immerse the blender at-
tachment in water or other liquids. This is to
prevent water from penetrating the upper part
(Fig. 8).
In the event that water has penetrated the
blender attachment, let the attachment dry
thoroughly and only use it again if it is com-
pletely dry.
Do not use any hard cleaning utensils, such as
steel wool, or any sharp or corrosive cleaning
agents to clean the appliance.
Do not touch the blades (Fig. 8).
