GAS CONNECTION
Notes on gas connection
• Before connecting the gas bottle to the grill, make sure the gas tap is turned off,
there are no open flames near the unit, and the gasket is in good condition. Then
connect the pressure regulator to the gas bottle.
• The connection hose must be replaced every two years.
• Check the connection hose once a month and every time the gas bottle is changed.
If the connection hose shows cracks or other signs of deterioration, it should be
replaced with a new one.
• Be careful not to kink or twist the connection hose and ensure that it does not touch
the hot surface of the equipment.
• Before replacing the gas bottle, make sure that the gas has been shut off and there
are no open flames or other sources of heat near the unit. Make sure that the gas
bottle is permanently in an upright position.
• Do not turn the gas bottle upside down to use the remaining gas.
• If local regulations require it, the flexible hose must be replaced.
• A low gas pressure regulator is request for operation, use the regulator
recommended by manufacturer or seller.
• Before you assemble the regulator, please check the gas type and pressure shown
on the gas cylinder, and make sure the information on the regulator and cylinder
matches.
• The hose connecting the appliance and gas cylinder is required, and the max.
length should not exceed 1.5 m.
• The connecting hose should not be twisted.
• Change the connecting hose when the national conditions require.
• This appliance must kept away from flammable materials during use.
• Do not put the cartridge under the gas grill, keep it more than 40 cm away.
Connecting gas
1. Be sure that the burner valves are in the "OFF" position before you connect the gas
grill to a gas or propane supply line.
2. Connect the inlet of the stove with the outlet of the gas regulator. This connection
must be made with a specialized hose for LP gas.
3. Be sure that the hose is placed correctly and is not being stretched, tied, or bent.
4. Also be sure that the hose is not too close to heat sources, especially to the body of
the gas grill.
5. It is recommended that a manual gas valve is placed between the gas pressure
regulator and the inlet of the gas grill to open or shut off the gas supply. This valve
must be in an easily accessible location.
Leak test
• Perform a leak test each time the gas bottle is connected or reconnected.
• Never use an open flame to check if gas is leaking.
