Varnish sealing/preserving
For varnish sealing/preserving, only use agents that contain Carnauba or synthetic waxes.
Whether sealing/preserving of the coating is required can be recognized when water no
longer drips off.
(3)
Touching up coatings
Minor coating defects can be touched up with spray paint or a touch-up applicator.
Rock damage or scratches are to be touched up immediately to prevent rusting.
Derust and clean minor coating defects where rust has already formed. Apply a base coat
(primer) and allow to dry well before applying the top coat. Polish up and seal/preserve the
touched-up locations/spots after a few days.
