HYGIENE MODULE
I. Hygiene Module
In order to disinfect the equipment, the whirlpool water level
should be at least 5 cm above the side jet nozzles. The existing
bath water can be used to disinfect the system. Ensure the re-
servoir is filled with disinfectant. When it is empty, a red warning
light will come on next to the symbol on the control panel and the
Hygiene module cannot be activated.
After filling the reservoir, the light will go out and the Hygiene mo-
dule can be restarted. Should there be an excessive build up of
foam, please switch off the Air regulator.
II. Starting the Hygiene Module
Press the button down until the green flashing light stays on per-
manently. This is a protection function against misuse and ensu-
res child safety. Provided the water level is sufficient, the disin-
fection program will start. Should a problem or error occur, a light
will start flashing immediately.
III. Disinfection Process
The equipment automatically starts pumping liquid into the sy-
stem components and switches off after the pre-set dosage pro-
cess. After 7 mins, the process recommences for 30 seconds.
This repeats itself a few times in order to ensure that an effecti-
ve disinfection of the whirlpool takes place. The cycle is finished
when the green light on the control panel goes out.
Rinse the tub out with clear water afterwards thereby leaving the
outlet open.

IV. Cancelling the disinfection earlier
By pressing the button, the process can be stopped.
V. Disinfectant liquid, Guarantee
Only use the original Duravit Disinfectant liquid, Article number:
790300 00 0 00 00. The use of other types of liquid invalidates the
Guarantee, as they may damage the plastic parts or components
of the whirlpool.
VI. Disinfection Interval
We recommend disinfecting the whirlpool every 3 to 6 weeks de-
pending on usage. As stated before, it is not necessary to
replace the water prior to disinfecting.
VII. Error Correction
If the red light next to the symbol on the control panel lights up,
then the disinfectant needs topping up.
If the apparatus cannot be started, check if there is enough water
in the tub and if necessary fill until the water level is at least 5 cm
above the side jet nozzles.
If the pump doesn't release any liquid into the tub, please contact
your dealer or customer service. The error signal can be
deactivated by pressing the button.
