All connections are made via the terminal strip (9).

may be used. To plug in or pull out a wire, press
the corresponding orange strip. Pierce one of the cable
inlets (5) and pass the connection wire through it.
4.3.1 Surveillance monitor/TV set
1) Connect the video input of the monitor via a 75 Ω
coaxial cable to terminal 8 "Video" and the screen-
ing to terminal 7 "GND".
2) If sound is transmitted as well, connect the audio
input of the monitor via a screened audio cable to
terminal 6 "Audio A", in case of stereo sound ad-
ditionally to terminal 4 "Audio B". Connect the
screening to terminal 5 or 3 "GND".
3) Instead of a monitor it is also possible to connect a
TV set. If the TV set is not provided with a video
and audio input, the receiver can be connected via
an RF modulator (e. g. VAM-3 from MONACOR) to
the antenna jack of the TV set.
4.3.2 Signal device or other additional unit
If the transmitter used is equipped with a control
channel, it is possible to trigger an action at a unit
which is connected to the receiver. For example, it is
possible to activate a visual or acoustical signal
device or to start the recording of a video recorder.
The connection is shown in fig. 3, the unit to be
connected is symbolized by the resistor R1.
If a current of more than 80 mA is required for the con-
trol, insert a relay or a switching amplifier. When
connecting an inductive load (e. g. relay), the protec-
tive diode D1 must be connected in parallel to it in
reverse direction!
4.3.3 Power supply
As a power supply a regulated power supply unit with
an output voltage between 7 V
quired, e. g. PS-500ST from MONACOR. The current
consumption is 150 mA at 12 V.
1) In case of power supply units with variable output
voltage adjust them between 7 V and 30 V.
2) Connect the power supply unit:
the positive pole to terminal 2 "DC +7.. 30V" and
the negative pole to terminal 1 "GND".
3) Do not connect the power supply unit to a mains
socket (230 V~/50 Hz) until all connections have
been made. When applying the operating voltage,
the receiver is switched on. The power LED (7)
lights up.
4.4 Making the adjustments
4.4.1 Channel selection
The wireless transmission is made in the 2.4 GHz
range on five channels at a distance of 14 MHz. As a
maximum three channels can be used at the same
time (channels 1, 3, and 5) because two adjacent
channels interfere with each other.

4.4.2 Adjusting the video signal
Adjust the polarity of the video signal with the switch
(11) according to the signal transmitted:
Position "normal" for transmission according to stan-
dard, position "invers" when a signal is sent in an
inverted way for encoding.
The video output level at terminal 8 "Video" is
adjusted to 1 Vpp according to standard. However, if
the picture on the screen appears too bright or too
dark, match the level with the control "Videopegel"
(10) accordingly.
