4 Set up
Before first use, the battery must be charged.
-
For further use a charging time of approximately
1 hour suffices.
- Before charging ensure that the mains
voltage matches the specifications on the nameplate
of the charger.
- To charge the battery remove from the handle of the
device and place in the charger.
- The recharging process is started by pressing the
SET-button on the charger.
- The red diode ON indicates that the battery
is being charged.
The green diode OFF indicates that
charging has finished.
- To load with grease cartridges:
- Only use 400g Lube Shuttle System grease
cartridges.
- Open grease cartridge and push the grease forwards
by means of the sequence piston of the cartridge
until it is flush with the thread opening.
- Insert cartridge into the grease gun barrel and screw tightly.
- The grease gun is now operational.
- Press the START button until grease emerges from the
nozzle.
- If the max. operating pressure of about 400 bar is exceeded,
the pressure relief valve opens and allows the grease to escape
outside. Break off the lubrication process and establish the
reason for the high pressure build-up. It could, for example, be that
the lubrication nipple, the lubrication line or the depository
is damaged or clogged.
- The temperature of the battery increases during use.
Cool battery to room temperature before use,
otherwise it will not charge.

Maintenance and care:

The high-performance battery grease gun works maintenance free.
Regularly check the pressure-bearing components (high pressure hose) and the current-carrying
components (charger) for any damage or wear. Defective parts must be replaced immediately
with genuine parts.

When ordering spare parts the following information is required:
Type specification, designation of the ET, order number
The following maintenance deadlines should be strictly observed to ensure trouble-free
operation.
