Remount the protection cap of the valve.
5.6. Heating up
After all plastering is finished, a heating screed
complying with standards has to be laid.
ATTENTION
The concrete and anhydrite screed has to
be heated up according to DIN EN 1264-4.
NOTE
Instructions of the concrete manufacturer are
to be observed.
5.7. Installation of cover plate
Mount the thermostat (1) onto the angle pat-
tern adapter (2) of the valve insert after heating
up has been completed. Now mount and align
the frame (3) and fix the cover plate (4) by
using the clips.
The frame (3) is fixed by unscrewing the frame
supports (5) until the front surface is flush with
the finished wall (6). The frame supports (5) are
fixed to the valve body (8) by using the coun-
ternut (7). The frame (3) is slipped over the
thermostat (1). After that it is pushed onto the
frame supports (5) and is fixed with two screws
(9). An offset angle of the installation box (10)
of ± 5° can be compensated with the elonga-
ted holes (illustr. 5.6). It must be ensured that
the frame (3) is flush with the wall surface (6).
Adjust frame supports (5) if required. The
cover plate (4) is slipped over the thermostat
(1) and is fixed by engaging it into the notches.
Illustrations 5.4 and 5.5 show examples with
wall coverings (11) (e.g. plaster, tiles) which are
not flush with the installation box (10) and
which require a depth compensation.
