EMS2 is ready for use. (Read the pdf user guide

provided in the USB key and on the EMS2 Touch Panel
for operating the so ware).
2. 2. 4. Connection for controlling an asynchronous drive
Connect the cable on the female Hirschmann plug
1)
side with the Hirschmann male input of the EMS2
Connection Box.
Connect the cable on the male Hirschmann plug side
2)
with the right or le Hirschmann female output of
the EMS2 AC Power Box.
Two outputs are provided to allow, if necessary, the
connection of two EMS2 Connection Boxes, one for
positioning to the le of the assembly table, the other
for positioning to the right.
Connect a RJ45 cable between the Ethernet ports of

the EMS2 AC Power Box and the Ethernet HUB.
Connect a second RJ45 cable between the Ethernet
4)
ports of the Ethernet HUB and the EMS2 Touch Panel.
Connect the power supply cable of the EMS2 Touch
5)
Panel, the EMS2 AC box and the Ethernet HUB with the
mains sockets.
The mains sockets must be installed close to each
device component and must be easily accessible.
The power supply disconnecting device of each device component is the detachable power
cord.
Mains sectors must have a protective earth.
Switch on the power.

Press the On/Off button on the EMS2 AC Power Box to

activate the box.
Press the On/Off button on the EMS2 Touch Panel to

turn on the monitor.
