NOTE : Il est peut-être utile de resserrer de temps en temps les vis des pales pour ne pas entendre de bourdonnement ou de
cliquetis pendant le fonctionnement. C'est notamment le cas lorsque le climat supporte des variations de température et d'humidité
importantes et lorsque les pales du ventilateur sont peintes ou très brillantes.
NOTE : Lorsque vous dépoussiérez les pales, vous devez les soutenir pour éviter qu'elles se tordent. N'appliquez aucune pression
sur les pales. Si vous constatez un défaut dans le fonctionnement de votre ventilateur, veuillez vérifier les points suivants.
DEPANNAGE – EN CAS DE PROBLEME
ATTENTION : Coupez l'alimentation électrique avant d'effectuer une de ces vérifications.
1. Si le ventilateur ne démarre pas : Vérifiez le disjoncteur principal et/ou les fusibles. Vérifiez la ligne de raccordement des fils vers
le ventilateur. Vérifiez que le commutateur avant/arrière est sur l'une de ces positions et non pas bloqué entre les deux.
2. Si le ventilateur est bruyant : Vérifiez et assurez-vous que toutes les vis du boîtier moteur sont bien fixées mais pas trop serrées.
Vérifiez que les vis de fixation des pales sur le moteur sont bien serrées. Vérifiez que toute la verrerie est bien fixée et que la(les)
ampoule(s) sont correctement maintenues dans les fiches, si vous utilisez un kit d'éclairage. Vérifiez que la plaque de fixation est
fermement fixée sur le support de suspension et ne vibre pas contre le plafond.
3. Si le ventilateur tremble : Vérifiez que toutes les pales sont fermement vissées au moteur. Vérifiez que l'éclairage est fermement
fixé et que toute la verrerie et le plafonnier sont correctement installés. Le tremblement peut même être la conséquence du plus
petit écart entre deux pointes de pales. Si les mesures entre une extrémité de pale et une autre ne sont pas égales, desserrez les
vis qui raccordent le moteur et la pale une par une et réglez la ou les pales afin d'avoir la même distance entre deux pales. Vous
pouvez échanger les pales placées côte à côte pour permettre de redistribuer la masse et assouplir le fonctionnement.
CAUTIONS
GENERAL INSTALLATION AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:

1- To ensure the success of the installation, be sure to read the instructions and review the diagrams thoroughly before beginning.
2- To avoid possible electric shock, be sure electricity is turned off at the main power box before wiring. All electrical connections
must be made in accordance with local codes, ordinances and/or the National Electric Code. If you are unfamiliar with the methods
of installing electrical wiring and products, secure the services of a qualified and licensed electrician as well as someone who can
check the strength of the supportive ceiling members and make the proper installation(s) and connections.
3- Make sure that your installation site will not allow rotating fan blades to come in contact with any object. Blades should be at least
7 feet from floor when fan is operating.
4- If possible, mount ceiling fan on a ceiling joist – the joist must be able to support the motion and weight of the moving fan. If the
fan will be mounted on a ceiling outlet box, a 4´ x 2-1/8´deep METAL octagon box is required, one UL listed as "suitable for fan
support". The box must not be able to twist or work loose. DO NOT USE PLASTIC BOXES. Installation on a concrete ceiling should
be performed by qualified personnel.
5- Blades should be attached after motor housing is hung and in place. To protect its finish fan motor housing should be kept in
carton until ready to be installed. If you are installing more than one ceiling fan, make sure that you do not mix fan blade sets.
6- After making electrical connections spliced conductors should be turned upward and pushed carefully up into outlet box. The wire
should be spread apart with the grounded conductor and the equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the outlet box, and the
hot wire to the other side.
7- Electrical diagrams are for reference only. Light kits that are not packed with the fan should be UL listed and should be installed
per the light kit's installation instructions.
8- After fan is completely installed, check to make sure that all connections are secure to prevent fan from falling and/or causing
damage or injury.
9- The fan can be made to work immediately after installation, the bearings are adequately charged with grease so that, under
normal conditions, further lubrication should not be necessary.
10- The fan must be turned off and stopped before reversing fans direction.
NOTE: Ceiling fan are now packaged with the motor, down rod and canopy cover pre-assembled. Before installation,
please check to ensure all screws and nuts are re-tightened as they may become loose during transportation

WARNINGS:
Disconnect power by removing fuse or turning off circuit breaker before installing the fan and/or optional lighting.
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or personal injury, mount only to an outlet box marked "acceptable for fan support".
If you choose a wall control, use an appropriate speed control device designed for use with ceiling fans to reduce the risk of fire,
electrical shock, or personal injury. DO NOT USE A SIMPLE INCANDESCENT LIGHT DIMMER OR SOLID-STATE SPEED
CONTROL DEVICE.
To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not blend the blade brackets when installing them, balancing the blades or cleaning the
fan. Do not insert any object(s) between rotating ban blades.
