PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The StreamMax pump is a flow pump for fresh and salt
water aquariums.

Intended use
Exclusively use the
2000/4000/5000 as follows:
• For maintaining the water circulation in an aquar-
ium.
• Operate
in accordance
(→ Technical data)
• Only use indoors and for aquaristic purposes in the
home (not for commercial use).
• Only operate with water at a water temperature of
+4 °C to +35 °C.
DISMANTLING THE FLOW ADAPTER
The flow adapter concentrates the flow. The pump can
be operated with or without the flow adapter.
How to proceed:

1. Turn the flow adapter slightly.
2. Pull it off the pump casing.
FASTENING THE PUMP WITH SUCTION
CUPS
How to proceed:

• Fit the supplied suction cups with a twisting move-
ment.
– The suction cups adhere to clean, smooth sur-
faces.
• Push the pump holder lightly against the clean
aquarium wall until it sticks.
– The pump can be pulled off the pump holder.
– Pull on the straps of the suction cups to remove
the pump holder.

FASTENING THE PUMP WITH THE
MAGNET HOLDING FIXTURE
The StreamMax magnet holding fixture (33985) is
available as an accessory and is installed in place of the
suction cups on the pump holder.
W A R N I N G
The magnet holding fixture contains a magnet with a
strong magnetic field that may affect pacemakers or
implanted cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).
• Always keep magnets at least 0.2 m away from im-
planted devices.
How to proceed:
 E, F
• Insert the rubber buffer of the magnet holding fix-
ture in the pump foot with a turning movement,
then fit the magnet holder.
• Position the magnet holder on the clean aquarium
wall and carefully position the magnet from the out-
side.
– Max. thickness of the aquarium wall for secure
fastening: 15 mm.
– The pump can be pulled off the pump holder.
– Releasing the magnet holding fixture: Push the
magnet away from the magnet holder.
ALIGNING AND ADJUSTING THE PUMP
How to proceed:

• Align the pump, taking the recommended spacing
into account.
• Route the connection cable so that it forms a drip
loop.

• Adjust the flow rate.
– To reduce the flow: Move the flow controller in
the direction -.
– To increase the flow: Move the flow controller in
the direction +.
