Repair
Disassembling a spraying device
Switch off the spraying device and disconnect the mains
cable to prevent injuries and electric shocks.
1.
Remove the four wing screws (18) and remove the filter
bracket (17), pre-filter (20) and main filter (16). Parts,
page 14.
2.
Remove the two screws (101) and the input connector (61)
from the HVLP box (1). Remove the three connectors of
the motor wires from the input connector (36).
3.
Turn over the spraying device. Remove the four screws
(77) from the spraying device base plate (2).
4.
Pull the spraying device base plate and all parts attached
to it upwards. Pull the motor cables that were attached to
the input connector through the HVLP box access slot.
5.
Repair or replace parts as required.
Assembling the spraying device
1.
Replace the turbine pipe seals (59, 60) and any other
damaged or worn parts. Replace the protect switch (32)
if it has triggered. Remove the adhesive residue from
older seals by applying solvent naphta (white spirit) to the
adhesive surfaces. Allow the solvent to fully evaporate
before installing new seals.
2.
Use a combination square and attach it to the longest side
of the turbine pipe (22) to be able to vertically attach the
turbine pipe to the basis (2). Hold the turbine pipe to be
able to vertically attach it to the edge of the basis and
carefully remove the combination square.
3.
Position the spraying device upside down. Carefully push
the base plate and the associated parts into the HVLP box
(1). Note: maintain the alignment of the turbine pipe.
4.
Pull the motor wires that are connected to the input con-
nector (61) through the access slot in the HVLP box.
5.
Use four screws (77) to tighten the HVLP box (1) to the
base plate. If necessary, use an adjustable clamp on the
outside of the HVLP box (1) to align the screw holes.
6.
Attach the three motor wire connectors to the input con-

nector (61). Attach the input connector (61) to the HVLP
box (1) using two screws (101).
7.
Attach the filter seals (19) and main filter (16) with the
arrow pointing towards the HVLP box (1) and secure the
pre-filter (20), filter bracket (17) and hose clamp (35)
using the four wing screws (18).
