5. Quick reference guide

NOTE
Detailed instructions for the following activities can be found in the relevant
sections of these instructions for use. Strictly follow the sequence of the
following activities during first time use, to prevent damage to the device.

With any action you take you should pay attention to the safety notes in the
corresponding paragraphs.
• Mounting the device
• Mount the unit on a tripod (optional).
• Connect the device to the electric power supply.

6. Preparing the devices for use

6.1 Mounting the device

• Plug the front diffuser over the light source
• Fasten the guide rails on the device with screws
• Fasten the mounting rail for the camera to the guide rails
• Fasten the camera on the mounting rail
• Tighten all fastening screws before use
