Skid plate adjustment
• Under normal conditions: Adjust the skid plate 0.5−1 cm lower than the scraper cutting blade
(so that the blade is 0.5−1 cm over the surface).
• In the event of hard packed snow: Set the skid plates slightly higher (in order to lower
the scraper blade).
• In the event of gravel or uneven surfaces: Set the skid plates somewhat lower (in order to
raise the scraper blade).
1. Loosen the skid plate locking nuts.
2. Adjust them depending on the surface.
3. Tighten the locking nuts and check the distance between the scraper blade and the surface.

Operation

1. Let the engine warm up for a few minutes to reach full power before beginning
snow removal.
2. Set the gear controls (2) to a suitable gear setting. Second gear is usually
appropriate for most snow removal situations.
3. Depress the auger clutch lever (1) to begin snow removal.
4. Depress the drive clutch (5) to engage the drive wheels and propel the snow
blower forwards.
Important: Never move the gear controls while the snow blower is in
motion and always release the drive clutch before changing gears.
5. After work has been completed: Allow the engine to idle for a minute. Let
the snow blower and auger stand still in order to let most of the moisture and
snow dry off.

Care, maintenance and storage

Important: Turn off the engine, remove the ignition key and remove the spark plug cable
from the spark plug before servicing, cleaning or maintenance.
