Charging indicator (blue): This indicator will light up when the
camera is charging. Once charged, the indicator will extinguish.
The indicators will flash red whilst recording video.

Inserting the rechargeable lithium battery

To open the battery compartment, slide the battery cover
in the direction of the arrow and flip open.
Insert the battery in the battery compartment. The gold contacts must
face toward the display.
To close the battery compartment, close the battery cover
back into the original position.

Charging the lithium battery

To charge the battery, plug the end of the charging cable into the Mi-
cro-USB port
socket. The camera may also be plugged into a computer to charge.
The charge indicator will light up blue. Once charged, the charge indi-
cator will extinguish. The battery requires about 3 hours to charge.
