Starting the unit

User Instructions
The driver seat can be adjusted to suit persons of
various heights.
Loosen bolts (SW 14) underneath seat.
Adjust seat position, and tighten bolts.
Check oil level in engine (see Chapter: Maintenance).
Check fuel level in tank, open fuel tap.
Clean filter with shaker mechanism, and empty debris
container.

Always clean the filter first before emptying the debris
container.
Ensure that engine is switched off.
Push handle on filter cleaning mechanism back and
forth several times.
Undo catches on debris containers, and withdraw
containers at right and left sides.
Empty debris containers, and then fit them back into
sweeper.
Release catch on fine-dust container.
Empty fine-dust container, and then fit onto sweeper
again.
Raising / lowering the side brush
To lower side brush, release arm from rubber
retainer.
To raise side brush, position arm behind rubber
retainer.
Sit on driver seat.
The engine can only be started when the operator is

sitting on the driver seat (contacts for seat switch). If
the operator rises from the seat the engine is switched
off (safety cut-out).

Raise brush roller (6),
– turn lever clockwise.
Lock clutch/brake pedal (1),
– press down on clutch/brake pedal, and push knob
for parking brake (2) inwards. Hold knob down and

release pedal (contacts for pedal switch).
