Switching the speaker on
1. Connect the mains lead to the power socket (14) on back of the speaker and plug
the other end into a power point.
2. Turn the power switch (13) to the ON position.
3. Press [
] (1). The speaker will power on and the display will be lit.
Switching the speaker off
1. Press [
] (1). The speaker will now go into standby mode.
2. Turn the power switch (13) to OFF.
3. Pull the plug from the wall socket to disconnect the Bluetooth speaker completely
from the mains.
Selecting an input source
Press [ IN ] (2) on the control panel several times or [ INPUT ] (17) on the remote to
select an input source.
Connecting an external Bluetooth device
1. Turn on the speaker as described above and select BT as the input source.
2. After a few seconds the "BT" indicator dot will begin flashing quickly on the display
which means that the speaker is now made detectable for other Bluetooth devices.
3. Activate Bluetooth on the chosen device to be paired and place it in search mode.
4. The speaker will be listed as "BX800" on your device, select it to connect
to the speaker. Refer to your device's instruction manual if you are unsure.
Note: If you are prompted to enter a PIN code, you should enter 0000 (4 noughts).
Certain devices may even require you to approve the connection.
5. Once contact has been established the "BT" indicator dot will begin flashing slowly.
6. Start playback on the paired device.
7. Adjust the volume both on the device and speaker to achieve the desired volume level.
8. Once your device has been connected to the speaker via Bluetooth, it will
automatically connect itself in the future whenever they are turned on and in
range of each other.
Connecting an external device via the AUX jack
1. Connect the external device by connecting it to the AUX socket (15) on
the speaker's back panel.
2. Turn on the speaker as described above and select AUX as the input source.
3. Start and check for proper playback from the external device.
