Standby mode
The appliance will switch to standby mode after 60 seconds,
• when the appliance is in standby mode and you do not press any button or
• if no program is running.
In Standby mode, all buttons are inactive except for the buttons Start/Stop, MENU and
PRESET.
Press the MENU button to reactivate the appliance from standby mode.
Start delay
The appliance provides a 1-60 minute start delay to start cooking at a specific time in
the future.
Press the button PRESET to chose a start delay.
The display will show the default start delay of one hour. Each press of the + or — button
changes the time by 1 minute. The appliance will generate a confirmation tone each
time the button is pressed and the currently set time value will flash on the display. You
can hold down the button to quickly change the temperature.
• Press the button + to increase the time.
• Press the button— to decrease the time.
The current time value in the display will stop flashing and remain lit if you do not touch
the buttons + or — for a few seconds.
After selecting a program and, if necessary, adjusting the cooking duration and
temperature, press the button Start/Stop to start the cooking process.
NOTE: Your entries are not stored permanently but only for the current cooking process.
Program selection
The appliance offers 13 programs and 3 functions for preparing a delicious meal or to
defrost, dry or keep food warm at the push of a button.
The amount of food cooked at a time, as well as the thickness, density and type of food
(fresh, thawed or frozen) may change the required cooking time.
NOTE: Use search engines and cookbooks to find out about unknown foods and their
proper handling before cooking.
