Dieses Gerät kann in Kombination mit gefährlichen
Materialien, Arbeitsvorgängen und Apparaturen verwen-
det werden. Die Gebrauchsanleitung kann jedoch nicht
alle Sicherheitsprobleme aufzeigen, die hierbei eventuell
auftreten. Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Anwenders,
die Einhaltung der Sicherheits- und Gesundheitsvor-
schriften sicherzustellen und die entsprechenden Ein-
schränkungen vor Gebrauch festzulegen.
1. Allgemeine Gefahrenhinweise und Sicherheitsvor-
schriften befolgen, z. B. Schutzkleidung, Schutz-
brille und Schutzhandschuhe tragen.
2. Jeder Anwender muss diese Gebrauchsanleitung
lesen und beachten.
3. Angaben der Reagenzienhersteller beachten. Bei
Zweifel unbedingt an den Hersteller oder Händler
wenden.
4. Verwenden Sie nur Proben die Polypropylen, Poly-
ethylen oder Polycarbonat (Gehäuse) nicht angreifen.
5. Nie Gewalt anwenden.
6. Gerät nur mit eingelegter Spitze (PD-Tips von
BRAND oder kompatible Spitzen) verwenden.

Safety considerations

This instrument may sometimes be used with hazardous
materials, operations, and equipment. To address all of
the safety problems associated with its use in such appli-
cations is beyond the scope of this manual. It is the
responsibility of the user of this instrument to consult
and establish appropriate safety and health practices and
determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior
to use.
1. Observe general instructions for hazard prevention
and safety instructions; e.g. wear protective cloth-
ing, goggles and gloves.
2. Read and follow this Operating Manual.
3. Observe all safety precautions provided by reagent
manufacturers. If in doubt, contact the manufac-
turer or supplier.
4. Use only with samples that do not attack polypro-
pylene, polyethylene or polycarbonat (housing).
5. Never use force on the instrument.
6. Operate only with tip attached (BRAND PD-Tips
or other compatible dispenser tips).
