eral domestic waste. Please dispose of these appliances
separately.

correct use
These wall mounted air conditioning appliances are suitable for
cooling, heating and dehumidifying the room air in private or
commercial rooms within the temperature limits given in the
chapter „Specification".
Any other use is considered inappropriate, in particular usage in
warehouses, food stores, rooms designated for keeping livestock
or horticultural use, and rooms containing precision instruments
or artwork.
Correct use also includes observation of the operating and
installation instructions.
Only use the wall mounted air conditioning appliance for the
purpose stated by the manufacturer and never change or convert
the appliance in any way.

Observe the following safety information and instructions.
Only a contractor approved for the work to be carried out may
make modifications to the appliance. Contractors are responsible
for adherence to all currently applicable regulations during
installation and commissioning. Operate the appliance only if it
is fully installed and all safety equipment is fitted.
Risk of injury
Where children or persons with limited physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities are to be allowed
to control this appliance, ensure that this will only
happen under supervision or after appropriate in-
structions by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they never
play with the appliance.

Risk of injury
The internal appliance and the external unit both contain
fans, the impellers of which rotate at high speed, there-
fore never insert objects into the appliance.

When cleaning the appliance, never use unsuitable
means of access (e.g. stools, chairs, tables). Risk of a fall.

Never recharge the batteries. Never dismantle the bat-
teries or throw them into a fire. This could lead to fluid
leaking out which may result in a fire or explosion.
Danger to life through electrocution!
Never spray the appliances with water or other liquids.

In case of thunderstorms, disconnect the appliance by
removing the fuse or by switching off the MCB/main
isolator. This also applies to maintenance work and if
the appliance is not going to be used for a prolonged
period (e.g. during a holiday).

Condensate can drip from the appliance. Never position
electrical appliances or furniture underneath the
appliance, otherwise faults or material losses may result.

Never spray insecticide or flammable sprays towards the
appliance. Otherwise fire and discolouration of the casing

or extension cables.

The CE designation shows that the appliance meets all the essential
European requirements:

The rating plate is located on the side of the air conditioning
appliance.

tips for optimum operation with low energy
consumption
f In cooling mode, avoid direct insolation into the living space
or onto the appliance. Close blinds and curtains. Never oper-
ate sources of heat, such as lamps, in the proximity of the
wall mounted air conditioning appliance.
f Keep the room temperature constant within the required
temperature range. Avoid frequent opening of doors and
windows.
f Clean the appliance filter regularly or when the performance
of the appliance begins to deteriorate.
