Pressure valve
d) Using the filling strainer [9], rotate the pressure valve screw [24] counter-clockwise.

Intake valve
d) Rotate the cylinder [19] 90° counter-clockwise and take it out of the tank. (Fig. 17)
e) Using a screwdriver (starting at the recess [26]), detach the intake valve [27] from the
cylinder [19]. (Fig. 18)
Re-assembly:Position the cylinder [19] on the intake valve [27] (opening [30] exactly
over the mushroom of the pressure relief valve [28], Fig. 20) and press the cylinder [19]
and the intake valve [27] together (Fig. 21)
Faults
Use only MESTO spare and accessory parts.
(Remove pressure vessel → section "Care and maintenance" chapter)
Fault
No pressure builds up in
the device.
Lever [11] can be moved
very easily.
Lever [11] is pulled
downwards.
Lever [11] is pulled
upwards.
Lever [11] locked or can
be moved downwards
with difficulty only.

Foreign object prevents closure

of the pressure valve [24] or
defective valve disc [25].
Diaphragm [17] is defective.
Pressure valve [24] dirty.
Filter [20] or / and nozzle [22]
blocked.
