Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Use the power tool, accessories and tool
bits etc., in accordance with these instruc
tions and in the manner intended for the
particular type of power tool, taking into ac
count the working conditions and the work
to be performed.
Secure the work piece.
Do not work with material containing asbestos.
Take protective measures when dust is pro
duced while working that can be detrimental to
health, combustible or explosive.
Keep your working space clean.
Never leave the power tool before it has come to
a complete standstill.
Do not use the power tool with a damaged cable.
If the cable is damaged while working, do not
touch the damaged cable and pull the mains
plug.
Connect a power tool that is used outdoors by
means of a fault current (FI) circuit breaker.
Connect the power tool to properly earthed
mains.
Never stand on the power tool.
Ensure that the protective hood is properly posi
tioned.
5) Service
2 SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
FOR TABLE SAWS
Keep hands away from the sawing area and the
saw blade.
Never reach behind the saw blade to hold the
work piece, to remove sawdust or for any other
reason.
Advance the work piece against the saw blade
only when it is running.
Use the power tool only when the working sur
face is free of all objects such as adjustment
tools, wood chips, etc. with the exception of the
piece to be worked.
Always saw only a single work piece.
Always use the parallel or angle guide.
In case the saw blade jams or the work is inter
rupted, switch off the saw and hold the work
piece still until the saw blade has come to a
standstill. Never attempt to remove the work
piece as long as the saw blade is still in motion,
otherwise, a kick back can occur.
Do not use dull, cracked, bent or damaged saw
blades.
