STEp 3. SET THE SWITcHES.
1. The minimum ambient setpoint temper-ature (TMIN) must be
set on the circuit board. Check the design information or, if
there is no design specification, use the table on the right as
your guide.
The setpoint value must be the same as the temperature used
in the heat-tracing design and should not be varied without
redesigning the heat-tracing system.
2. Set temperature switch (TMIN—see Figure 3) as indicated in the
following table.

Note: The heating cable is not 100 per-cent energized until the
minimum setpoint temperature is reached. If you are unsure
about this temperature setting, set it to a higher rather than
lower temperature to prevent freeze-ups.
Note: The "NET ADD" switch is not used and has no effect on
the controller operation.
3. Set the red DIP switches in the upper left corner of the control
panel as indicated in the table on the right.
