8. TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

8.1. Replacing a lost or broken Somfy io control point

Refer to the corresponding guide.

8.2. Problems with the Slateo A io?

Observations
The roller shutter is
not operational.
The roller shutter
stops too soon.
The roller shutter does
not move to oriented
slat position [favourite
position (my)].
8.3. 5HVWRULQJ WKH RULJLQDO FRQ¿JXUDWLRQ
This reset deletes all control points, sensors, and all
end limits settings and resets the motor's direction of
rotation and favourite position (my).
Apply the double power cut only for the motor to be
reset!
1) Set the roller shutter to the halfway position (if possible).
2) Cut the power supply off for 2 seconds.
3) Switch the power supply back on for 5 to 15 seconds.
4) Cut the power supply off for 2 seconds.
5) Switch the power supply back on: The roller shutter
makes a movement for a few seconds.
If the roller shutter is in the upper or lower end limit
position, it will make a brief movement.
6) Press and hold the PROG button: the roller shutter

Possible causes
The wiring is incorrect.
The motor's overheating protection has
tripped.
An incorrect cable has been used.
The Somfy io control point battery is
low.

The crown is incorrectly positioned.
The end limits have been incorrectly set. Readjust the end limits.
