Base station display

The base station display provides information on the status of the answering
machine:

Information on the answering machine

When a new message has been received, the

the handset display. If the call is also stored in the calls list, the
icon appears, too.
When playing back a message on the handset, repeat or skip the

message by pressing the Back or Next buttons, respectively.
The answering machine adds the date and time to each message. To

be able to use the answering machine properly, you must set the date
and time.
If you want to listen-in to a message as it is being recorded, press the

To take a call as the caller is recording a message, press the ‡

button.
The recording capacity of the answering machine is 15 minutes. When

the memory is full, recorded messages must be deleted.
To switch your answering machine on from an external telephone, dial

your own phone number. The answering machine is switched on after
the 20th ring. You can then use the remote access facility.
