The remote control does not
work and/or function
properly.
Cannot operate external
components with the remote
control of this unit.
The cursor buttons do not
work during SET MENU
operation.
Cannot use the My Beam
auto-adjust function.

Cause
Wrong distance or angle.
Direct sunlight or lighting (from an inverter
type of fluorescent lamp, etc.) is striking the
remote control sensor of this unit.
The batteries are weak.
The external component you want to operate
is not selected as the input source.
The remote control code was not correctly
set.
Even if the remote control code is correctly
set, there are some models that do not
respond to the remote control.
The operation mode selector was
unwantedly set to TV/AV.
Wrong distance or angle.
Cause
The number of the connected HDMI
components exceeds the limit.
HDCP authentication failed.
Remedy
The remote control functions within a
maximum range of 6 m (20 ft) and no more
than 30 degrees off-axis from the front
panel.
Reposition this unit.
Replace all batteries.
Press INPUT on the front panel or the input
selector buttons on the remote control to
select the external component you want to
operate.
Set the remote control code correctly or try
another code for the same manufacturer
using the "List of remote control codes" at
the end of this manual.
Use the remote control supplied with the
external component.
Set the operation mode selector to YSP.
The remote control functions within a
maximum range of 6 m (20 ft) and no more
than 30 degrees off-axis from the front
panel.
Remedy
Reduce the number of the connected HDMI
components.
Check that the connected HDMI
components support the HDCP copy
protection standards.
