8. Configuration of the models T12, T24, TR21,
TR30, TR31 temperature transmitters and
resistance thermometers
Do not configure the transmitter, programming adapter
and PC in hazardous areas!
Tighten the screws of the terminals to avoid
communication errors.

operating instructions.
For installation please follow the instructions of the
installation instructions. A free-of-charge download of the
latest version of the WIKA_T12 and WIKA_TT software
(suitable for Windows 3.xx/95/98/2000/ME/XP/NT 4.0) is
available from www.wika.com. It can only ever be used
in connection with a single device. Start the software
by double-clicking on the WIKA_T12 or WIKA_TT icon.
During data transmission, do not break the connection
with the transmitter, since the data may not be correctly
read as a result of this.
8.1 Software version WIKA_T12
Special features
To get complete access to all functions and parameters of the model
T12 temperature transmitter, you must choose the access level
'Specialist'. The password following software installation is "demo". Via
the menu item "Connection" → "Single instrument" a connection will be
made.
Following successful connection the software shows the basic
information about the connected instrument: MSR point number, MSR
description, serial number, instrument model and version.
Confirm connection established with "OK".
