    SilverCrest SCA 5.00 A2 Bottom 21 Tripod mount Before Getting Started Charging the Batteries The camcorder is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion (FUJI ELECTRONICS (SHENZHEN) CO., LTD. NP40) battery. On delivery, the batteries are not charged. Please charge the batteries before first use of the device.

    SilverCrest SCA 5.00 A2 You can also charge the camcorder battery by leaving it in the camcorder and connecting the camcorder to the computer by using the USB/AV cable. To do this, proceed as described in steps 1-3 on page 53 – Using the USB Port. If you keep the camcorder powered off after the USB cable has been connected to the computer, the battery will charge.

To do this, insert its metal contacts first into the battery compartment and then push it downwards so that it clicks into place. When inserting the rechargeable battery, make sure that the tag is placed around the battery so that you can remove the battery easily from the compartment when required.
