All devices are equipped with a linear analog current output and a serial
digital interface (RS232 and bus-capable RS485). The Interface enables
the user to read out measured data as well as to set hardware-
parameters (e.g. the emissivity) remotely.
The device uses all advantages of digital measurement and has
compared to analog devices, more precise results and reproducibility.
The device is calibrated with individual compensation-tables for exact
compensation of the ambient temperature.
Another feature is the self-test function (e.g. device temperature), which
is also readable remotely. A recalibration of the equipment onto a
measuring sub range (measurement range-magnifier) can be done by a
PC without an infrared radiation source. All part measurement ranges,
which are contained in the basic measurement range, are also realizable
ex factory.
Devices with sub ranges have the same precision as devices with full
basic ranges.
