1. To install the software for the BLACK BOLT Racing Wheel please download the corresponding
driver. Always use the latest driver version for the best possible performance. To download

2. Plug the pedal kit into the socket on the back of the racing wheel using the cable.

3. Place the racing wheel on a smooth, level surface and connect it to your computer's USB
port using the USB cable.
4. Keep the Mode button held depressed for 2 seconds to switch between the racing wheel's
two operating modes: XInput (for the majority of current games) and DirectInput (for all older
and some newer games). If the green LED (left) glows, XInput mode is active; if the red LED
(right) glows, the device is in DirectInput mode.
Set the racing wheel to the desired mode before starting a game. Switching during
gameplay may stop the game identifying the controller correctly; if this happens, restart the
game. Please consult the manual that accompanied the game, ask the publisher or try both
modes to establish which mode works the best.
5. To use the Cruise function, first make sure your BLACK BOLT is in DirectInput mode. Then
give some gas by pressing on the right pedal until you've reached the desired speed. Now
maintain this speed and press and hold the Cruise button for 1 second. Once you release the
button, you will cruise at this speed. To exit Cruise mode, press the gas or brake pedal.
6. In the driver menu, which you can access via the Control Panel, you can test the racing
