Fault causes and rectification
Defect
You hear no sound.
You can here the
karaoke music but
no singing.
No picture/sound on
the television when
using the SCART/

This section contains important information on fault localisation and rectification.
Follow the instructions to avert hazards and damage.
The following table will help with localising and remedying minor malfunctions:
Possible cause
The mains adapter
connected.
The socket is not supplying any
power.
The volume control is set to
minimum.
Other connected devices are
switched off or their volume
controls are set to minimum.
The device has switched off
after not being used for two
hours.
The volume controls MIC1
and/or MIC2
to the left.
The switch
is set to the OFF position.
You have connected the adapt-
ers the wrong way round.
With some televisions there
is a delay in the signal pro-
cessing. This is not a fault
with the karaoke set.

Check the house fuses.
Increase the playback volume.
