Intended use

The device serves to charge Ni-Cd/NiMH accumulator packs with 1 to 15 cells and a
capacity of 270 to 9999 mAh. The multi-charger can also be used for Li-Ion and Li-
Polymer accumulators with 2 - 3 cells. The charger automatically sets the cell count.
The charging current can be adapted continuously from 0.5 to 5.5A to the corre-
sponding accumulator in quick charge modus. In slow charge modus, the charging
current is 100 mA. The intelligent charge switch additionally allows the discharging of
accumulators with up to 20A (with 7-cell accumulators). This discharge prevents the
memory effect with Ni-Cd accumulators. After the accumulator is discharged, the
device automatically switches to charge mode. The minus-delta-V charge cutoff ena-
bles charging accumulators up to 100% without overcharging.
There is a charge program that performs three charge and discharge cycles to
refresh spent accumulators.
LEDs and signals provide constant information about the current operating state. An
LC display allows you to control the charge voltage, the charge current and the capa-
city of the connected accumulator.
Accumulators are connected on the back via two sockets. An adapter cable for stan-
dard accumulator packs is enclosed. Other adapter cables are optionally available.
Batteries (zinc-carbon, alkaline, etc.) or lead accumulators are not to be recharged.
The multi-charger can be connected to and operated with 230 V AC or 12 V DC. The
direct current source must be capable of providing a current of at least 7A.
The charger is protected against overload and short-circuiting. Observe the polarity
at the charge output!
Uses other than those described above are not permitted and may damage the pro-
duct. Misuse may also lead to risks such as short circuiting, fire, electrical shocks.
No part of the product may be modified or converted.
