We do not resume liability for resulting damages to property or
personal injury if the product has been abused in any way or
damage by improper use or failure to observe these operating
instructions. The guarantee will then expire!
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important instructions
in the operating manual. Carefully read the whole operating
manual before putting the device into operation. It contains
important information about correct operation of the device.
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the device are inadmissible because
of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The toy contains small parts and thus can become a choking hazard for younger
children.
• Warning! Only to be used in water in which the child is within its depth and under
supervisor.
• To prevent cuts or other bodily injury, do not contact edge or objects.
• When operating a radio control model, you are responsible for your actions and any
consequences. Hence, we recommend buying personal liability insurance.
• Be cautious at the shore. When launching or retrieving the speedboat, you could slip
and fall into water.
• Never operate the speedboat in bad weather or under strong wind.
• No human or animal may be hunted by the weight of the boat and/or sharp edges.
Danger of injury exists, particularly by the turning propeller!
• Never touch the propeller or rudder while in operation. Inadvertent operation of the
radio control model can cause injury!
• Electromagnetic interference sources, such as mobile telephones or other transmitting
sources, can decrease the transmitting range and/or lead to malfunctioning.
• Avoid subjecting the device to heavy mechanical stress. Do not expose it to extreme
temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration or dampness.
• Operate the speedboat only at places where nobody endangers and without obstructs
and disturbs.
• The boat may not be used in sea water, travelled waterways, harbour basin, channels,
protected areas, fishes pool, pier, weir or waterfall.
• Handle the device with care. It could be damaged by concussion, impact or when
falling from modest heights.
• Never pull the power cord to withdraw the mini-Tamiya connector. Always release the
clip first and use the grip areas provided.
• Never touch the AC charger, battery pack and/or batteries when your hands are wet.
• The AC charger and batteries are not toys and should be kept out of reach of children!
• Servicing, adjustment or repair works must only be carried out by a specialist/
specialist workshop.
• Should any questions arise that are not answered in this operating manual, contact
our Technical Advisory Service or other experts.
