5. Safety instructions

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from
non-compliance with the operating instructions. Liability for any and all
consequential damage is excluded!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury,
caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. In
such cases the guarantee/warranty will be void.
Dear customer, the following safety instructions and danger warnings are not
only to protect your well-being but also to protect the device. Please read
carefully through the following points:
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible
because of safety and approval reasons (CE). Do not open/dismantle it
(apart from exchanging the rechargeable batteries)! There are no parts on
the inside that need to be adjusted or maintained by you.
Maintenance, setting and repair work may only be carried out by a specialist/
specialised workshop.
• The product must not get damp or wet.
The power pack is intended to be used in dry indoor locations only. There is
danger to life through an electric shock!
Also protect the product from direct solar radiation, strong heat (>35?), cold
(<0°C), dust and dirt.
• When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. during
transport), condensation water may form. This could damage the product.
The power pack also involves the risk of a mortal electric shock!
Therefore, you should allow the product to warm up to room temperature
before using it or connecting the power pack to a socket outlet. This may take
several hours.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children! Children
cannot judge the dangers involved when handling electrical devices. The
microscope camera also contains rechargeable batteries and glass parts
(display).
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy
for children!
• Use the device only in moderate climate regions and not in tropical climate.
