Preparing the coating material

Observe the manufacturer's instructions for the use of the
coating material on the paint tin or on the technical
instruction sheet.
Coating material purity:
An absolute pre-condition for the trouble-free operation
of the fine-spray system is that the coating material is
uncontaminated. If you have doubts as to the purity of
the coating material, we recommend that you first filter it
through a fine sieve.
Note: when applying solvent-based spraying materials,
especially 2-component coating materials, the coating
system must be operated with a water separator.
In addition, the potlife must not be exceeded. Within this
time the coating system must be thoroughly rinsed with
the appropriate cleaning agent and cleaned.

Starting operation

Before connecting to the mains supply make sure that the
mains voltage corresponds to the operating voltage on
the rating plate. The unit must be connected with a
properly earthed shockproof socket.
1. Remove the pressure tank lid. Pour spraying material
into the plastic insert or place the original container in
the plastic insert.
Note: Check upper edge of plastic insert, pressure-
tank lid sealing ring and air inlet hole (1, fig. 4) for
cleanliness.

Replace the pressure tank lid (in the proper mounting
direction). Slightly tighten all 5 wing nuts and then
tighten evenly by hand diagonally.

Connect connection hose (blue) to quick coupling (2)
on compressed air regulator.

Pull out compressed-air control knob (3) and set to ma-
ximum pressure by rotating clockwise (pressure gauge
indicates 2.5 bar).
