Place the impeller back in the casing. Place the impeller cover back.

Re-starting the filter
Place the foam cartridges back in the filter module and fit the filter module and pump head back together until the
connections clip properly into place (1). Return the filter to its original place in the aquarium and install any accesso-
ries as previously. Plug the filter to the power supply. Regulate the flow to the desired rate.
What to do if...?
The pump head or module cannot be correctly fitted
Cause
Dirt (sand) in snap fastenings
Filter does not run or no water flows out
Cause
No power supplied
Impeller missing or blocked by gravel, wormgear casing
or rotor faulty
Filter capacity greatly reduced
Cause
Flow regulator set incorrectly
Suction slit blocked
Filter material heavily soiled
Filter material filled into net bag
Solution
Clean snap fastenings.
Solution
Plug into power supply
Clean impeller casing, fit intact impeller
Solution
Check position of regulator and correct
Clean suction slit
Clean filter material (particularly pre-filter material).
Do not fill long-term biological filter material e.g. JBL
MicroMec, JBL Sintomec etc. in finely meshed net
bags.
