10.3 Display Icons during Recording

During recording, the following icons are shown on the screen:

• The event status depends on the system recording according to priorities.
• Priorities: Manual recording, recording after motion is detected, timed recording.
• Different recording modes require different settings. Basic settings: Video resolu-
tion, recorded frames, video quality and audio recording. When different recor-
ding modes are triggered, the system starts recording according to the settings
made.
• Example: Working time 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.. Set the timed recording to low
recording quality to enable a long recording time (low recording quality = low sto-
rage requirements = longer recorded time). Between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.,
recording in high quality and with a high frame rate should be triggered when
motion is detected.
• Video and audio are stored on the SD card (available optionally). When the
recording is saved, the "Rec" (10) status LED flashes to show that a file is cur-
rently written to the SD card.

A loss of operational voltage during recording leads to data loss of
the current recording.
Where the video signal is lost during recording, the current recording
is stopped. In this case, a backup file is created. When the video sig-
nal is available again, the recording is continued.
