3. Safety Instructions

The warranty will lapse in the event of damage
caused by failure to observe these safety instruc-
tions! We do not accept liability for damage to
property and injury to persons caused by mishan-
dling or non-compliance with the safety instruc-
tions!
The exclamation mark indicates important notes in
these operating instructions that should always be
observed.
• The camera must not be modified or converted, as
not only the CE approval will become void but also
the warranty.
• Adjust the "DC aperture stop controller" (1) very
slowly in order to avoid damage to the device.
• The camera should not be exposed to extreme tem-
peratures, direct sunlight, intense vibrations or heavy
mechanical stress.
• Where the device is used connected to other devices
e.g. a monitor and a mains supply unit, the operating
instructions and safety instructions of the connected
devices must be followed.
• The use of the surveillance camera system does not
replace the personal supervision of children, or peo-
ple who require special assistance, but only serves
as support to this supervision.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the camera
requires approx. 15 minutes to stabilise, in order to
adjust to the surrounding temperature, before it can
be used.
• The system components are not toys and should be
kept out of the reach of children!
• Please contact a qualified person if you are unsure
about the safety and correct use of the camera.
