6. Connection and Operating Elements
See fold-out page.
(1) ON/OFF mains switch (POWER)
The mixer is switched on or off using this switch. The device is on when the switch is in the "ON" position. In the "OFF" position, the mixer is
switched off.
(2) Mains connection
Connection for the power supply.
(3) GND connection
To prevent buzzing, this terminal can be used to create an earth connection between the mixing desk and the turntables.
(4) BALANCED MASTER OUT output
Connect a symmetrical amplifier with XLR connection here.
(5) LINE/PHONO inputs
One each of these stereo cinch inputs can be connected to CD players, MP3 players, turntables with MM pick-up system or other playback
device with cinch level. The red cinch socket is on the right; the white cinch socket is on the left. The LINE1 input is connected to channel CH1;
LINE2 input is connected to channel CH2.
(6) PHONO/LINE slider
Push the slider to the left to the PHONO position if you have connected a turntable to the LINE input. Otherwise, push the slider to the LINE
position.
(7) USB output
For playback and/or recording, connect the device to a computer. For this, use the USB cable included in delivery.
(8) LINE outputs
On the left "REC" LINE output you can connect a recording device such as a cassette deck. On the right "AMP" LINE output you can connect
an amplifier. The red cinch socket is on the right; the white cinch socket is the output on the left.
(9) Headphone jack
A set of stereo headphones can be plugged into this 6.3 mm jack. Only use headphones with a minimum impedance of 32 Ohm. The signal for
the headphones is independent of the output signal for the connected amplifiers. During playback through channel 1 using the amplifier, you
can listen with headphones to the signal from channel 2 simultaneously and vice versa, for example.
(10) Headphone volume control
This control is used to set the volume of the connected headphones. In the "0" position, the volume of the headphones is at its minimum; at
"10" it is at its maximum.
(11) CUE fader
This control allows you to set which channel will be played on the headphones. Push the switch all the way to the left to hear channel 1 on the
headphones. Push the switch all the way to the right to hear channel 2 on the headphones.
(12) Microphone bass control (BASS)
This controller allows you to regulate the bass of the microphone signal. Depending on how the controller is set, the bass tones are raised/
lowered by up to 12 dB. In the "0" position, the signal is not affected by the sound controller.
(13) Microphone treble control (TREBLE)
This controller allows you to regulate the treble of the microphone signal. Depending on how the controller is set, the treble tones are raised/
lowered by up to 12 dB. In the "0" position, the signal is not affected by the sound controller.
(14) Microphone volume control (MIC LEVEL)
This controller allows you to regulate the output volume of the microphone signal. The volume of the output signal is increased or decreased
depending on the controller setting.
