b) Fine tuning of the TV channels
Ther TV tuner in the TV/DVD combination set has the so-called "AFT" feature (auto
fine tuning).
With this, each channel can be set ideally. At good reception e.g. via cable
connection, normally no fine tuning of the channels received is necessary .
If using only a simple roof or room aerial, however, the picture/tone quality of the
channel received can be improved by the manual fine tuning.
If you have not already set the channel by means of the channel setting with the fine
tuning, proceed as follows:
Press "MENU (TV)" on the remote control (31) briefly
(or press button "MENU" on the front of the TV/combination set (F) briefly)
Select the setting option "TUNE" by means of the buttons "VOLUME
"VOLUME "
Press the button "CHANNEL
Press the button "CHANNEL
appears
Press the button "VOLUME
Alter the channel setting by means of the buttons "VOLUME
"VOLUME "
Wait briefly until the setting options appear
Select the setting option "STORE" by means of the buttons "CHANNEL
"CHANNEL ".
Store the setting by pressing the button "VOLUME
briefly
Complete the settings by pressing the button "MENU (TV)" on the remote control
(31) briefly; or press the button "MENU" on the front of the TV/DVD combination set
(F) briefly.
Alternatively, you can wait for a few seconds, then the setting mode is exi-
ted automatically.
