Thank you for purchasing this Voyager RY-630 World Receiver.
You have acquired a product which has been designed to the latest technological
standards.
Construction meets national and European requirements for electromagnetic
compatibility. Conformance to these has been proven; the relevant statements
and documents are lodged with the manufacturer.
To maintain this condition and to guarantee safe operation, the user must observe
these operating instructions without fail!

Intended use
With the Voyager RY-630 World Receiver, the FM / TV1, AM (MW), SW, TV2, CB and
AIR / WB / PB frequency bands can be received.
This World Receiver may be purchased and operated by anybody. At any time,
however, only transmissions intended for the general public may be listened to (see
"Observance of statutory regulations").
The receiver is intended for operation on a 230 Volt / 50 Hz supply, with batteries
(four 1.5V batteries type UM-1) or, with a suitable adapter, via the 12 Volt DC socket
of a (chassis-negative) vehicle.
The operation of the World Receiver is only permitted indoors and in vehicles. Ope-
ration in the open is not permitted. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms or simi-
lar, is to be avoided without fail.
Any other use than as described above can lead to damage to this product; in addi-
tion, this is accompanied by dangers such as for example short circuit, fire, electric
shock etc. The product as a whole should not be modified or converted!
The safety instructions are to be followed without fail!
