• Batteries necessary for operation (e.g. remote control transmitter, receiver, flight battery), must be charged accor-
ding to the manufacturer's instructions.
• If batteries are used as a transmitter power supply, make sure that they have sufficient remaining capacity (battery
checker). If the batteries are empty, always replace the complete set, never individual cells only.
• Before each operation, check the settings of the trim slider on the transmitter for the different steering directions and,
if necessary, adjust them.
• Always check the correct and secure position of the propeller before operation.
• Regularly examine the propeller for damage. Damaged propellers pose a danger and no longer must be taken into
operation.
• Always switch on the transmitter first. Only then can the receiver system be taken into operation. Otherwise, there
may be unexpected reactions and, e.g., the propeller may start up unintentionally in an electric motor or the motor
may suddenly turn up to full throttle when the combustion engine is running!
• Make sure that neither objects nor body parts are in the rotating and suction areas of the propeller while it is rota-
ting.
c) During Operation
• Do not take any risks when operating the product! Your own safety and that of your environment depends com-
pletely on your responsible use of the model.
• Improper operation can cause serious damage to people and property! Therefore make sure to keep a sufficiently
safe distance to persons, animals or objects during operation.
• Select an appropriate site for the operation of your model airplane.
• Fly your model only if your ability to respond is unrestricted. The influence of tiredness, alcohol or medication can
cause incorrect responses.
• Do not direct your model towards spectators or towards yourself.
• Never point the aerial of the transmitter directly onto the model. This has a considerable negative effect on trans-
mitter signal transmission to the model and the range reduces.
• Never switch off the remote control (transmitter) while the model is in use. After landing, always disconnect the flight
battery first or switch off the model's receiving system only afterwards. Now you may turn off the remote control
transmitter.
• In case of a defect or a malfunction, remove the problem before using the model again.
• Never expose your model or the remote control to direct sunlight or excessive heat for an extended period of time.
