Cleaning

The outside of the device should only be cleaned with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush. Do not use abra-
sive cleaning agents or chemical solutions which could damage the housing or impair operation.

Disposal

If the appliance is irreparable or unusable, dispose of it in accordance with current statu-
tory regulations.
Disposal of used batteries
You, as end user are legal obliged (Battery Regulation) to return all used batteries and rechargeable
batteries; disposal of them in domestic waste is not permitted!
Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are marked
with symbols indicating that disposal in the household waste is prohibited. The symbols
for dangerous heavy metal constituents are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead.
(The terms are inscribed on the batteries e.g. under the left-hand waste symbols).
You can return used batteries/storage batteries free of charge to any collecting facility
of your local authority, to our stores or to any other store where rechargeable batteries
are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to the protec-
tion of the environment!
