Nod trim:
If the helicopter wants to drift forwards, reduce the speed and push the bottom one of the two trim buttons for the nod
function (see figure 1, item 2).
The transmitter emits a short confirmation tone with increasing height at each push of a button. When the
trim is in its centre position, a longer signal sound and a quick tone sequence is audible at maximum trim
to the rear.
Push the pitch lever carefully forward and check if the adjustment was sufficient. Repeat the procedure until the model
does not show any tendency to drift forward. If the helicopter wants to drift backwards, push the upper one of the two
trim buttons for the nod function (see figure 1, item 2).
The transmitter emits a short confirmation tone with decreasing height at each push of a button. When the
trim is in its centre position, a longer signal sound and a quick tone sequence is audible at maximum trim
to the front.
Pitch trim:
The trim for the pitch function should be set so that the model helicopter floats on the same height if the control stick for
the pitch function is in the centre position. Otherwise, the drive motors must be switched off when the control stick is in
the bottom-most position.
If the control paths of the nod and roll trim slider are not quite adequate for an optimum correction, you have the
possibility to change the control of the rotor blades mechanically. For further information, refer to the following chapter
"Fine-tuning the model helicopter".
