7.4.3
Measurement (online graph)
This window contains:
Temperature as a graph
Actual temperature measured
Desired temperatures from the control program, if a program has been started using the PI
6000.
Number of values measured as well as the file size for the actual measurement
If the window is opened directly (that is not in
a control program using the program monitor
or the Test/AutoTune window) initially only the
actual temperature from the measurement
pyrometer is shown graphically. When a
control program is started using the PI 6000,
the desired values for the individual segments
are also displayed.
Other display features:
Using "Mark zone" you can mark a tem-
perature range in colour for easier recogni-
tion.
Using "Threshold" a temperature can be
entered above or below which no more
measured values are recorded. In this way
the size of the file saved can be kept small.
"Scaling Trend" limits the display of the
temperature range to the range required.
Note:
When "colour bar" or "online graph" measurement is opened, the measured data are
automatically saved using the file name standard.i12. If the data are to be available
for later processing, it is advisable to use a different file name for the recording, as
when a measurement is started, the previous measurement will be overwritten.
Files from older versions of the program with the extension .i10 can be opened and
saved as .i12.
7.4.4
Table (analysis)
The temperature values measured
are listed numerically here for later
evaluation or analysis.
As several items of data can arise during the
smallest time unit of 1 s, there is a second time
entry that gives the time in sec. after midnight
(0:00 h). The amount of data depends on how
often a measurement is made (entry in 7.4.7
Scanning interval). As the amount of data
increases, so does the amount of storage space
required to save the file. To save space, the data
are binary coded when they are saved in .i12
files.
7.4.5
TXT file output (analysis)
The same file as in "Table" can be converted into a text file (in the menu bar under output ASCII file save as
.txt file) that can be opened straightforwardly using, e.g. EXCEL. EXCEL will automatically correctly format
the columns with the default import settings (tab as separator).
