Putting into use

Electrical connection
Make sure that the iron voltage (see name plate) and the
line voltage match.
The mains plug should only be inserted into a correctly
installed socket with earthing contact.
Connected Wattage
The total power consumption of this device can be up to 2000 W.
With this connected load a separate supply line protected by a
16 A household circuit breaker is recommended.
CAUTION: Overload!
If you use extension leads, these should have a cable
cross-section of at least 1.5 mm
Do not use any multiple sockets, as this device is too
powerful.
On/off switch
When the switch is in the position "OFF", the device is off.
There are two ways in which the device can be used:
Using without the timer switch
1. Move the on/off switch (7) to the "ON" position.
2. Select your desired temperature with the temperature
control (10).
Using with the timer switch
1. Select the desired cooking time with the timer switch (7)
(5 to 30 minutes).
2. Select your desired temperature with the temperature
control (10).
NOTE:
Once the time is up, a bell will sound. The device will switch
off automatically.
Use
1. Make sure that the appliance is unplugged and switched off
(The control lamps are off.).
2. Press button 11 to open the lid of the appliance.
WARNING:
• Always remove the mains plug before cleaning the device and wait
until the unit has cooled down.
• Never immerse the housing in water. This could lead to fire or elec-
tric shock.
