INFORMATION
In the sport prosthesis, only use prosthesis components approved for the
respective sport or a body weight of 150 kg.
2 Application
2.1 Area of Application
Recommended for use in sport prostheses for jogging, sprinting, athletics
and related sports. Approved for a body weight of 100 kg max.

2.2 Environmental Conditions

Allowable Environmental Conditions
Temperature range for use: -10 °C to +60 °C (14 °F to 140 °F)
Allowable relative humidity 0 % to 90 %, non-condensing
Prohibited environmental conditions
Mechanical vibrations or impacts (except during sports)
Perspiration, urine, fresh water, salt water, acids
Dust, sand, highly hygroscopic particles (e.g., talcum) that could lead to increased
wear

Acid resistance: salt water, chlorine water, soapsuds, perspiration, urine

Allowable immersion depth: 3 m

Mechanical vibrations or impacts
Dust, sand, highly hygroscopic particles (e.g. talcum)

2.4 Service Life

Based on ISO 10328, the prosthesis components were tested by the manu­
facturer for 3 million load cycles. With normal patient activity, this would cor­
respond to a service life of 3 to 5 years in an everyday prosthesis. A general
