Assembling the handle bar

1. Insert the lower bar (6) into the
implement case (11) and screw
it on with the two star grip nuts
(9).
2. Use the screws and star grip
nuts (7) from the package to
mount the upper bar (1) on the
lower bar (6).
3. Use the two cable clips (5a+b)
to attach the power cord to the
bar.

Fitting the wheel adjustment rod

1. Place the wheel adjustment rod
in position on the height adjust-
ment lever handle (15) and the
height adjustment (13) screw
slot respectively.
2. Screw the rod firmly in position
with the wing nuts (12a + b).
Mounting and emptying the
collection bag (optionally
available)
WARNING: Never operate the
implement without the impact
protector. Danger of Injury!
The collection bag is delivered in a folded
state and must therefore be assembled
before it is mounted on the implement.
Mounting the collection bag:
1. Assemble the collection bag
rods (23).
2. Thread the collection bag (8) onto
the collection bag frame (23).
3. Slip the plastic straps (22) over
the collection bag rods (23).

Mounting the collection bag
on the implement:
1. Lift the impact protector (14).
2. Push the pins on the collection
bag rods (23) into the socket in
the implement case (11).
3. Release the impact protector so
that it holds the collection bag
(8) in its position.
Removing and emptying the
collection bag:
4. Lift the impact protector (14)
and take out the collection bag.

Setting the working positions

Check that the appliance is turned
off before adjusting the working
position.
Transport position
To set the transport position, pull
the lever for height adjustment
(15) towards you.
This position sets the maximum safety
spacing between the tool and the floor.
Working position
To set the working position, turn
the height adjustment lever.
Setting of scarifier cylinder position
The roller height is freely
adjustable by means of the
height adjustment screw (13).
