Please observe the following safety instructions:
• The distybase duo/duo plus/duo exant fulfils the legal requirements for
telecommunications devices. You are permitted to fit it yourself. The
housing must not be opened. Unauthorised opening of the housing
and improper repairs may endanger the user and will invalidate the
warranty.
• Only equipment supplying safety extra-low voltage (SELV) and/or
conforming to ETS 300 047 should be connected to the distybase
duo/duo plus/duo exant. Equipment operated in accordance with its
purpose complies with this regulation.
• Do not allow fluids to penetrate the distybase duo/duo plus/duo exant
as this could result in short circuits or electric shocks.
• The distybase duo/duo plus/duo exant must not be installed during a
thunderstorm, nor should any cables be plugged in or unplugged.
• The aerial cable must not be earthed or connected to lightning
protection devices.
• The distybase duo/duo plus/duo exant is designed for indoor operation
only.
• The device is designed for wall mounting and is not suitable for use as
a tabletop device.
• Lay the cable so that it cannot be walked on or tripped over.
• Please observe local regulations for the installation of aerials.
• In the event of a power failure, all the data in the memory is retained
without changes.
• You cannot telephone during a power failure.
