TROUBLE SHOOTING CHART

TROUBLE
A Loader does not hold the load
up when the control is in
NEUTRAL position.
NOTE: There's always a slight
leakage inside the valve.
(Manufacturer's allowance)
B Loader has inadequate lifting
or crowding capacity.
C Floating function of the valve
does not work. Deformed
control cable.
D Loader works slowly or is
standing still.
E The valve is difficult to operate.
F Leakage in hydraulic rams.
G Loader sinks somewhat when
the lifting movement is begun.
H Exterior leakage at valve
spools.
* Valid only for loaders with
separate control valve.

CAUSE
1
Leaking security valve (in
implement function only).

Damaged valve spool (too
much play between spool and
hole in valve housing).

Faulty piston seal, see point F.

Oil pressure too low
a) Faulty oil pump
b) Faulty relief valve

The length of the control cable
is not correctly adjusted.

Too little oil in hydraulic system.

Damaged or incorrectly connec-
ted quick-coupling.

Hoses incorrectly connected.

Too small oil flow.

Control cables jammed

Defect seal

Damaged piston rod.

Damaged top bolt or plunger.

Damaged ram barrel.

Defect built-in safety valve
(concerns the bucket ram only)

Faulty check valve.

REMEDY
Check by disconnecting ram
1
hoses from valve.
* Change the valve (just
2
changing seals will not help).
Check the oil pressure
1
a) in front of valve
b) behind valve
* See Valve Mounting

Instruction.
Fill up oil according to manu-
1
facturer's instructions.
2 Check the quick-couplings.
Connect in accordance with
3
colour marking.
4 Check the tractor hydraulics.
* Check mounting (sharp
1
angles), grease cables with
thin flowing oil. When ice
forms - put defroster in
adjustment casing at valve.
When replacing seals, first
1
check that the troubles are not
caused by points 2, 3 or 4.

* Remedy in accordance with

service instruction for valve.
(Check that return hose to
tank is mounted.)
